NBA Finals Game 4 Odds
On Thursday Night, the Celtics played their first must-win match of the playoffs. They trailed the Los Angeles Lakers 2-1 in the NBA Finals odds and not even the most hardcore Boston fan believes the Boston Celtics could manage to lose on Thursday and win the series. The Lakers won a tough game on Tuesday night thanks to Derek Fisher who simply outplayed everyone in the 4th quarter. Now the Lakers will attempt to put a stranglehold on this series on Thursday.
Boston was a 3.5 point preference with a total of 190 at SBG Global. It looks like they earned that score because they got even in the finals on Thursday night with a victory versus the Lakers.
The Boston Celtics pulled it off despite the fact that it was a challenging match. The Boston Celtics rallied on the strength of its bench in the 4th quarter, directed by Glenn “Big Baby” Davis, despite having trailed by as plenty of as eight points and being down 62-60 after the third quarter. Pau Gasol scored 21 points while teammate Kobe Bryant had 33 points, leading the Lakers. Nate Robinson’s three-pointer with 3.4 seconds remaining in the period delivered the Boston Celtics to the second with a 19-16 lead.
Sunday night is going to be Game 5.
The Lakers won 91-84 on Tuesday night as Derek Fisher constantly made the big plays down the stretch. Kobe Bryant had 29 points to head the Lakers but he missed a ton of shots. It was Fisher who claimed the match for the Lakers. Kobe gets a lot of the accolades when the Lakers succeed but not this time around. It was Fisher’s match as he finished with 16 points, 11 of these made in the 4th quarter. Kevin Garnett had 25 points to top the Celtics while Ray Allen, who had 32 points in Game 2 was totally blocked. He finished with just 2 points after missing all 13 of his field goal attempts.
Boston got nothing out of Ray Allen in Game 2 and they didn’t get a whole lot more out of Paul Pierce. Allen finished with just 15 points. Rajon Rondo also didn’t rule as he had in Game 2 as he finished with just 11 points, eight assists and 3 rebounds. It was mentioned before this series started that for the Boston Celtics to win they needed Rondo to dominate. He did that in Game 2 and the Boston Celtics won. In the other 2 matches he didn’t and the Boston Celtics lost.
